As Head of Product Design, I led the redesign of Apy.Vision, a DeFi analytics platform that helps investors monitor portfolio health, yields, and exchange rates across multiple blockchain networks. The goal was to enhance clarity, trust, and usability for a highly technical audience of experienced crypto investors.
Designing for DeFi users came with unique challenges, separating Layer 1 and Layer 2 data, handling wallet connectivity, and organizing large volumes of financial metrics without overwhelming users. I began by conducting user interviews and surveys to gather feedback from the V1 product, identifying key pain points and opportunities for improvement.
I defined the design strategy, created new layout concepts, and implemented a refined information architecture to ensure logical grouping of data. Through iterative A/B testing and collaboration with developers, we resolved wallet synchronization issues and improved portfolio visualization. These enhancements led to measurable gains in engagement and user satisfaction, establishing Apy.Vision as a more intuitive and trustworthy platform for DeFi investors.
